These works are from travels my husband and I have made since 2001. On this page are paintings from our travels to Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal and France. The historic and mythological qualities of the architecture, such as castles, cathedrals, temples, and even towns that are often just ruins, have always been a source of inspiration and ideas for me. They are works of art in themselves. I am also enamored of the countryside – the fruit trees, rolling hills, and fields of wildflowers that often surround the ruins.
I enjoy the moment of a place, absorbing the past – or present – where nature and architecture exist in harmony and the imagination can run free.
