These works are from travels my husband and I have made since 2008. Prior to this I never traveled outside of North America other than Europe.
On this page are works from Egypt, Turkey, South Africa and Peru. Visiting places that are exotic, colorful and mythological in Africa, Asia and South America has inspired me in new ways – experiencing Egypt with its past more like a future; looking at beauty everywhere in the sites and landscapes of Turkey; seeing the cycle of life before my very eyes in Kruger Park in South Africa; walking in the awesome majesty of Machu Picchu in the Andes in Peru.
I enjoy the moment of a place, absorbing the past – or present – where nature and architecture exist in harmony and the imagination can run free.
